In May of 2008 residents of Orchard Grove Mobile Home Park in Boulder, Colorado were informed that we might lose our homes to redevelopment. Displacing some 400-plus working citizens from their homes is a serious event, and one which we hope to avoid. It is all the more tragic because Orchard Grove has been targeted for redevelopment in order to fulfill a quota that the City set to build low income housing - housing that many if not most of the current hard-working citizens of Orchard Grove will not be able to afford, particularly after losing their homes, which are their primary investment.

Download Link Thanks to KGNU 88.5 FM or 1390 AM for their interview with our Richard Carey! Stay tuned for more information later! Here's a link to the interview! Our city council loved their bike ride Dear Neighbors, Thank you for making the City Council’s bike ride through the park an overwhelming success! It was a beautiful day for a bike ride, and Orchard Grove has never looked better. Many people went out of their way to have their homes and yards looking spectacular. Over 85% of our homes had “YES! Save Salvar Orchard Grove” signs proudly displayed. And it was great seeing everyone outdoors enjoying our community. Council members on the bike tour were Matt Applebaum, Angelique Espinoza, and Deputy Mayor Crystal Gray, along with several family members.
